Cyrus, this is the path I took my smith on to get to Legendary Smith. To be
honest I do not remember where the list came from. A friend of mine found it
and suggested it to me. The ingot usage is according to whomever made up the
chart... mine was a tad bit more - I think around another 30K in ingots....
but then I did not work on it every single moment. I just did it for a bit
every night or so to get the .1 and then played with another character. Hope
this helps everyone!

Congrats on getting to 120. I think your friend gave you an old list
though. Quite a while back they changed things in both smithing and
tailoring so that you can get skill making lower difficulty items.
(You don't need to make bone armor at all anymore to get to legendary
tailoring)

I made simple plate gorgets until almost 110 smithing for example.

If you check the Stratics smith forum I'm pretty sure this info is in
a sticky thread there.

If you're tired of mining, remember that tinker NPCs sell an unlimited
amount of iron ingots. Of course every couple times you buy 500 from the
same tinker the price goes up. If you use the tinker inside the Moonglow
bank, you can deposit the ingots directly into your bank box.

I have a 120 Smith scroll around the house someplace if you want it.
Now that they are not so hard to get they do not sell as fast so I have
not put it on the vendor. (I hate paying vendor fees for something to
stay there for weeks). 😛

Make an offer, (any offer), and its yours.
