Hi i bought a Quad Elite Link D1 usb D/A converter when i installed it the driver said it could not instal on windows 10 pc
so i emailed the place were from i bought it they gave me drivers to instal so did that the dac seems to be changing ok but
i just can not here anything, but when i uninstall the driver plug it to my amp RCA i can use it but i here a static sound every now and then?
like a record player would make? i would like to be able to use it all the time instead of having to play through my amp all the time
as well is there any one that has a Quad link D1 that has work around for these issues because i dont want to have to send it back.
any help would be appreciated thanks.

Solution
I have it connected to a Emotiva flex amp it works when its played through that amp but like i said there is a click sound every few minutes? but its not working when i dont have it connected through the amp? like when its just through the pc on its own my pc sees it but no sound.

Right you won't get sound because that device is only a DAC, it needs something powering the speakers or headphones in order to use it. Try it with another amp, try different cables. That is a good model amp, should not really be having issues with that though. Did you check support site for the DAC to find anything?
Your post does not make it very clear what you are connecting this to, there is no amp inside this thing you need to connect the output of it through an amp to your speakers, so you need to play it through your amp or some sort of amp to get any sound.
