Hi,
My D drive (which was 1Tb) had some 22GB remaining showing red color in my computer indicating low space.I decided to scan disc the drive to check any errors.
> From Properties - Tool tab I started scan disc of D drive .
But I stopped the scan disc in between.
Now its showing,
"D: is not accessible. "
"Access is Denied."
I cant access the D drive, even for backup.
Can I anyhow get access to D drive before going for disc recovery software?
Here is What I already did,
1)From my Administrator account I tried to access D: drive but cant access
2)From my Administrator account I tried 'assigning the permission option' but its not showing me the 'names' window in the SECURITY tab. Its flat. Only 'Advance' button is visible there.
3)From my Administrator account I tried to change the Drive letter but message replies "Parameter is incorrect"
The disc Management shows it as D: 'Healthy (Active, Primary Partition)'
I am clueless, Please help.
I am having important work files there and I am being stressed.
Thanks
Shank
