[SOLVED] D Link DWA 132 network adapter driver setup is stuck

Hello, my D link dwa 132 rev b has no drivers for my laptop and my wifi card is broken inside my laptop so i need an adapter, run the setup and i keep being stuck on an error saying "wireless adapter not found" and the adapter is connected, how to fix it? Many hours searching but no luck
 
Solution
Instead of trying to use the installer. Use a program like 7-Zip to unpack the installer to a folder. Then all the files including the driver itself should be accessible.

Go into Control Panel and open Device Manager. Look for the card you are trying to install a driver for. It may be under Network adapters or Other (if no driver is installed).
  • Right click the device and choose "Update driver".
  • Select "Browse my computer for driver".
  • Under "Search for drivers in this location" click "Browse" and select the folder you created when unpacking the installer.
  • Click "Next". Hopefully, it finds the driver. If you get the dreaded "The best drivers for your device are already installed". Click the back arrow and try...

Also if the drivers won't update automatically. After unpacking the installer with 7-Zip. You can try a more manual approach to coax it into using the driver you want.
