Question D-Link GO-SW-5G (2012) or Netgear GS205v2 (2013)?

I currently have two basic 5-port Gigabit unmanaged switches in storage and I'm going to get rid of one.

• D-Link GO-SW-5G (released 2012, bought April 2016 for £9.50 new)
• Netgear GS205v2 (released 2013, bought April 2020 for £10 new)

Are there any reasons to keep one over the other?

The DC in plug's position on the D-Link makes it look a bit weird.

Although you would have to dig around to be sure it is likely the chip that does the work is the exact same. None of these companies make their own chips or even assemble their own equipment.

The only ones I have seen that are "better?" are the ones that have a metal case rather than plastic.
