Hello,

Router: D-Link DIR-842, the firmware is up to date.
I added a rule for port forwarding as on the attached image:
1.png

192.168.100.150 is my computer with a web server on port 8005 (http://192.168.100.150:8005) is working locally.

But even after the router restart, it seems that the port is still closed.
When I run on my server machine nmap 192.168.100.1 shows me this:

and using nmap -p 8005 192.168.100.1 shows port: 8005/tcp, state: filtered, service: mxi

Do you have an idea what am I doing wrong?
Thanks!

The status of your port 8005 web server should be viewable using external sites like canyouseeme.org.

You should check that the DLink WAN IP address is being assigned the correct public IP address. That IP address must match what you see on canyouseeme.org. If it doesn't, there is something ahead of the DLink that is performing NAT. Please provide the make and model of your modem.

Are you testing external access to the web server from an actual external source and not from inside your network?
