D-link router from virgin media and blackberry

Works fine with both pcs - I can see and connect to the router, but the blackberry 8120 doesn't see the SSID. Have tried adding manually too.

Has it worked wirelessly anywhere else ? If it's a Blackberry supplied by an employer the wireless may be turned off as a security measure.

No, its not a work one and its been fine with previous routers and others. Its the fact that the pc can see the network no problem and the BB can't...

Is the Blackberry limited to seeing only a few channels - fewer than the 11 or 15 the D-Link might be transmitting on?

If Saga Lout's suggestion is correct, it's worth experimenting with changing channels in the router setup screens (see literature which came with router or download manual from maker's site).
