how can i use 6 computers with my 4 port d link router

If any have wireless and the router also has wireless capability you can connect 4 with Ethernet cable and two with wireless. You could also buy a cheap 4 port switch and attach it to one of the four LAN ports and then you could attach all 6 -- one LAN port on the router and one on the switch will connect together leaving you with 6 useable ports.
