Question D-RGB Without Mobo header?

Hello,
I’ve been searching on google for a while now and I figured I would ask to see if there’s a “new” way.

So I have a D-RGB Reservoir from EK, but my motherboard only uses RGB.

From what I have found so far, the only way is to use a converter from Deepcool.

Is this still the only way to make this work? I just want the leds to light up, not necessarily work as D-RGB but as normal RGB would be fine.

molex can work, but you wont have any control over it. other then that, a commander pro or the rgb controller from corsair will work

Thank you! So I can also use a Corsair Commander Pro to plug D-RGB lights? I have one brand new but didn’t think it would work, I’ll try it out.
