Hi everyone ^^

I got an old 2nd hand monitor, NEC MultiSync 5D 19 inch.

at its back there are two inputs, D-sub and 5 BNC inputs.

my display card is only a Geforce2mx 32mb.
(D-Sub and tv-out only)

my question is, which method of connection will give the monitor better quality of image?

I tried the D-sub to D-sub, and D-sub to 5 BNC...

However i can't really tell the difference...maybe i didn't look hard enough...

Could anyone please tell me which way is better?
the D-sub to D-sub or the D-sub to 5 BNC

thanks ^^

thank you very much GoSharks ^^

after reading your article, i belive i should stick with
D-sub to D-sub solution...

However i just wonder, if BNC has "better quality" why the D-sub became so popular? because of the cost?

BNC would be better only if you had BNC on both sides. Problem is there is not enough room on the Video card bracket for 5 BNC connectors
