whenever i attempt to open need for speed the run, I get the error report " the program can't start because d3dx11_43.dll is missing from your computer." I've tried reinstalling the program but it made no difference. please help

Did update my directX but no difference, My computer is an hp pro 3010 core2dual. 3GB RAM and 2.93Ghz speed. I have no graphics card installed. Still need your help please.

do you mean you havent got the graphics driver installed?

can you download and run gpuz and see what graphics it says you have

I've followed all steps and above is part of results. Hope it is what U needed.

With a further update of windows, this is the message i now get,
'' failed creating D3D device of at least version 10.0 on adaptor Intel(R) G45/G43 express chipset" with driver "unknown". Error is DXGI_ERROR_UNSUPPORTED ("unsupported").
This is typically caused by not having the minimum directX support in your GPU"

yeah--looks like you are trying to run on integrated graphics?

that looks like a micro tower

has a pci-e slot but you will be limited by the size of the case and the psu as to what gpu it can take

just trying to find what wattage the psu is in it--chances are its not going to be that high a wattage

It was due to lack of a graphics card, I installed one and It is now working okay. Thanks to all and lots of love from Uganda.
