D5 pumps, too loud.

So... I have been doing this for a while now and have gone through 4 different types of pumps, and 3 different D5 pumps. Every single one I have tried, including the ones at work "I work at a water cooling place" all seem to let out this high pitched cable whine noise. Almost like a dog whistle. Some people can't hear it.. I can hear it practically from the next room over.

So I am started buying up DDCs and keep across a nice fast one... however it gets incredibly hot when testing it outside of the loop... just looping back to its self.

I put a bitspower DDC heatsink on there... but man that whole thing gets quite warm to the touch.. almost hot. Is this just how faster DDCs are? Anyone notice the d5 sound? I'm stumped.

I have a pair of EK D5s with the serial top err middle err whatnot, I can't hear a whine from them, but they're in the dampening rings and locked down, not sure if that makes a difference. First thing that came to mind was you just have really good hearing. When I was a kid I could hear quartz clocks buzz. Had one on my headboard and it drove me nuts, but I figured everyone had to live with it so no worries. Years of loud loud rock concerts later, I still have really good hearing, but I don't hear electric stuff buzz any longer. Less it's sposed to. I have 8 noctua 14cm ippc 3000 fans, and at max, they are quite loud, at half though, not too bad. So that's where you stand next to me. Some people are just more sensitive to that kind of stuff.
Other things to try may be fluid additives to thicken the mix a little. Not sure. I do like EKs vibration dampeners on their D5s. Maybe a little something something to bring the voltages err... Wattage? Like on the Noctua fans? Sorry, having trouble remembering the names right now for what I'm talking about...

Well... I have tried opaque fluids, water and non opaque fluids... even stuff like aurora.
I do have good hearing... but I too tried my best to destroy my ears with metal music, playing the drums and concerts lol. This setup is a bitspower D5 kit... so its rubber dampened. The one at work is an EK pump top, mounted to the side of a case. I originally RMA'd this to swiftech, they sent me another... had the same problem so they sent me another. They replaced the impeller and said that was the issue... so I have 2 of them and 2 new impellers... the impellers did absolutely nothing. I'm thinking they couldn't hear it either.

I am testing the thermals on my ddc 3.2p just hooked up to a 420 rad with a bitspower heat sink kit... its getting super toasty... not too hot touch but hotter than I would like it to be. There will NOT be a fan blowing directly its way in my case... so i'm kidna stumped. This d5 is so loud I can hear it out in the hallway.... and the only DDC that has the power I want is incredibly hard to keep cool.

stumped!

I discovered something odd about a D5.
I grabbed an old one off the shelf on my way out of work that had no impeller to play around with. I tried it outside of my loops and it does not make the high pitched noise... however before I installed it I noticed the white ceramic ball had some black stuff on it. I figured it was just dirty but... I also noticed both of my DDCs I have were the same way. Is that just a coinky dink or are these pumps meant to have a tiny bit of grease on them?

anyway... installed the other pump that was quiet off the loop... guess what? makes the noise as soon as I install it. So I tried switching pump tops... both pumps only make the noise while in my computer.... not off. Funny thing is, this is an entirely different loop than the previous one I had in which the pump was loud like this... that was the loop that made me quit D5s all together.
I just don't understand... its not my power supply... because I tried running the pump in my loop, using the aux PSU... I have freakin tried everything. As soon as these pumps are hooked up to blocks and rads they whine like crazy!

I can't take it anymore... its like really bad tinnitus.
