I have a Sennheiser GAME ZERO headset with 50Ω impedance and lately I've been finding that I having been getting enough power out of my motherboard's on board sound. I mostly use these headphones for gaming and my Audio-Technica ATH-AD900X (38Ω) for music, but I do use both pairs of headphones for gaming, music, movies and editing. I'm looking for an Amp/DAC or sound card that will be good for all of these things and under about $300.
Thanks.

Get the ODAC/O2 combo from JDS Labs or Mayflower Electronics. It's far better than any other option at that price point.

Forgot to mention I'm in Aus, so those both end up being about AUD$450 for me so ideally something a little cheaper would be good, but they both look perfect

I think I'd rather leave the assembly to the professionals. I've also heard a lot of good things about the Audioengine D1 and the Sennheiser GSX-1000 which are both just under $300 AUD
