Daily crash at same time by same error

Every morning after i wake up from sleeping, i come to see my computer is restarted at the windows2k login screen. I was told by someone else to check event viewer for errors and all i can come up with is that: The NTPort Library Driver service failed to start due to the following error:
The system cannot find the file specified.

Whatever that means....Ive been running solid since i built my comp (almost a year now) and no major changes. you can see a full screenshot of the error here alone with another error that happens at the same time that i dont think is related: http://www.bigheadology.com/images/error_one.jpg and http://www.bigheadology.com/images/error_two.jpg

hmm... sounds like a weird problem you've got here... if you havent formatted your computer since you built it a year ago... i recommend backing up anything you want and formatting and start off clean... i always do that at least twice a year

im really hoping it doesnt come down to that, theres a lotta stuff i missed the last time i reformatted

and so i stayed up till 5:15 to watch to see for an error, and of course it doesnt. wtf does all this mean?

well... i dont know what to tell ya man... the way i look at it when i format my computer is... if i forget to back something up... it probably wasn't that important anyways

Do you use a screen saver? If you were using your computer, that would have prevented the screensaver from kicking in.

nope, none of that stuff. I simply shut off my monitor when im done using the comp

What programs do you have installed, and what's the last one you installed before this started happening?

Have you tried repairing Windows with the Windows 2000 install CD?

Have you set any services to disable? (See <A HREF="http://www.blkviper.com/WIN2K/servicecfg.htm" target="_new">BlkViper's Win2K Pro and Server Services Configuration Info</A>)

i fixed it, but dont know exactly how. i tried a bunch of things and it doesnt crash anymore so im happy 😛
