I leveled ZackFlash's Prayer mercenary a bit more while burning in various
mule games, but Zack himself remains still in act 3 normal. Well, Emilio
does too, obviously.

Also spent some time browsing through some old threads, and wondering what I
could do to help make this place less of a morgue. Clearly talking about my
own characters doesn't really inspire much conversation. Well, other than
from short, but he's just being polite!

Did some mephisto running. Mephisto was strangely quiet on the drops front
most of the time. Many runs with all rares and blues. No run with more
than two gold items. Highlights: a String of Ears, a Moser's shield
(hopefully I can get this one to Dalai's zon before the mule game eats it,
like last time), a Rockstopper, a Rune Master axe (only 3 sockets, though),
and a guardian angel. Woohoo on the last one, at least! I also found a
number of tal rasha's amulets that morphed into something else when I IDed
them. I really should report this as a bug. We won't mention the number of
dangoon's maces and green breast plates that were found. Uh uh.

If Bnet eats your Mosers again, I think I have one that I don't have
immediate plans for :).

Funny that you mention Dangoons Maces. I've probably found 6-8 of them in
the past month, and I hadn't seen any at all this ladder season before that.

It may not be generating a firestorm of comments, but it certainly
gives me a few ideas for making my characters a bit more fun or
survivable/

I can see the act 2 merc's T-shirt now: "Lacquer in the front, poker

still lurking over in WoW land, I'm enjoying the change of scenery after all
the years of D2'ing but I do find it lacking in the social aspects. going to
give it a little while longer. have to remember to refresh my accounts
sometime and I might have to organize a garage sale at some point.

Super! I did a few more MF runs later on, and the best I could manage was a
flamebellow sword.

Now I just have to find dalai online so I can get him the shield before
baffle.net decides to play any more stunts.

While I have you here, there's a string of ears on the first of my armour
mules (first of the mule accounts, you know the password). Have a look if the
stats are any better than the one your axe paladin has already (I think he has
a string, right?), and switch them if they are.

Don't tell anyone, but in 1.09, I had a frenzy barb that dual wielded them for
the constant frost novas.

Eeek, I better stop reading and hop on B-net. The last one was in
the pack, but when the game went Ker-Floop it vanished.

Since Shae hit 91, I'm switching her mostly over to mephisto running, so
getting those items is going to be pretty much a formality, anyway.
