Question Daisy Chain Monitors: ASUS/LG

I have the ASUS Pro Art 4k PA279CV and LG Ultragear 1440p 27GL850 monitors on a dual-monitor stand that I am looking to daisy-chain together. The ASUS will be directly connected to the PC whilst the LG will be chained to the ASUS monitor.

The issue is that the LG monitor is too far for the DP cable to reach and be cable managed. If I have to, I can just buy a longer DP cable.

Couldn't verify whether the ASUS supported MST or not. But regardless, it looks like GPU DisplayPort to Monitor Alt-DisplayPort doesn't work either. Ah well.. I'll buy a longer DP 1.4 cord then as I won't have to replace it down the road.
