Shouldn't be an issue either way. With Addressable RGB each led is seperate from its neighbor, so will light up according to the pwm address it's given.
The only question is power needs. Series is different to parallel, so connecting end to end requires more voltage strength, connecting side by side requires more amperage strength.
End to end can only be a certain amount of leds, strip length total or risk enough voltage drop to render the leds useless.
