Daisy chaining Extension sockets

Hey Guys,
I want to daisy chain an extension lead in my room. But I don't know if it is safe.

I only have two wall sockets in my entire room.

First extension lead is 3m long and extends to 6 sockets with surge protectants, which power, A PC ( GTX 970 + I5, no more than 600w at max load), speakers (50W), BT ethernet switch, A monitor (40W max), LED strip 3m long and a 6 port USB hub.

My USB hub isn't where I'd like it to be, So I was planning of extended the socket it was in and then attach it up to the daisy chain I would have created. The second extension lead is 1m long with 4 sockets and no surge protection. I would only attach lights or/ and a bed warmer to the last 3 sockets in the chain.

Would I be overloading anything here? What is so dangerous about it? What do I have to look out for?

Hi
Since you mention BT I will assume UK.
Basically a wall socket can deliver 3000 W.
At the moment it looks like your maximum draw is about 750W so well within what the socket can provide.
The first extension lead will also have a maximum load of 3000W as will the second lead,so if that load is on the first extension lead of 750W then the maximum power on the second lead would be 2250W .
So unless you are going to put a huge load on the second lead then you will be totally fine.
Only real thing to note is that you don't want the 3m long cable to be coiled as this can cause the cable to heat up and so should be in a line or loosely looped, but since you aren't pulling much load you won't have a problem.
I am assuming the bed warmer is not massively powerful.

What I mean by 'BT' is British telecommunications, Its a company in the UK, which you probably know, but it's a broadband provider, they sell products. :)
My bed warmer doesn't pull much power at all. and my 3m extender is extended to its max and is definitely not coiled haha. :)
Thank you for the information though, I'll keep this all in mind for when I create more daisy chains hehe

I know that BT means British Telecoms :) I am from Yorkshire,it's just that most people that don't mention their country of origin are from the USA and their electrical system is different.
Have a nice day.
