So in the process of unboxing my new corsair rams the box cutter slid down through the bubble rapping and the cardboard and also the plastic casing of my rams , after inspecting the dimm i found that the blade slightly scratched one of the gold pins on one of the sticks (almost invisible to the naked eye) as seen in the picture below :

My question is if this little scratch is going to kill the ram, lower the performance , or make it very unstable and cause major problems with time?
thanks in advance.

Is it going to kill the ram? usually no. it either boot or not booting at all. or not stable. From what i've seen it's not deep enough to damage the pcb trace inside it.

Lower the performance? i dont think so, if stock speed/xmp speed worked with no issue.

Install the ram and see if you can get to the bios.

If that works boot a copy of memtest86 and let it run.
