damaged side window panel need to replace it

my side window is messed up from some compressed air noob mistake i held the can on an angle while spraying the dust off and it left horrible stain on my side window. Just wanna replace it now , what kinda glass shoulld i use? and can i use tape to stick it in place?

What is the case? You could probably bring the glass/panel to a local store such as Lowe's or Home Depot (if in US) and have them match it so it can be replaced.

Polish it with very fine sandpaper.

I can't imagine that compressed air would be able to damage glass. Is the glass tinted? If so, it's likely the tint that's damaged and not the glass itself.
