Freezes when I turn it on, off open a program, when I’m just moving the mouse, sometimes the screen goes completely black, and downloading shit is a nightmare. Someone please help.

Specs-
CPU- Intel - Pentium G4600 3.6GHz Dual-Core Processor

Motherboard- Gigabyte - GA-B250M-DS3H Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard

RAM- Crucial - 4GB (1 x 4GB) DDR4-2400 Memory

GPU- EVGA GTX SC 1060 6GB

POWER- EVGA - BT 450W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply

Solution

You need a new PSU, just for safety. You need the ram just for a usable PC.

If you MUST choose, "Safety first!"

Freezes tend to be memory related. Is your memory listed as supported in the QVL for your motherboard?

Or just do what they should have from the beginning.

Get a Dual channel 8 GB kit and a quality PSU.

Instead of that train wreak setup they have now.

Ok, I’m looking into a new PSU. Until then is there anything I can change in my BIOS to get it running smoother? I’ve tried putting the pc on intergrated graphics but I have the same problem.

It is what it is. With only 4GB of ram, you are going to be experiencing a LOT of paging to the swap file, which slows down data access to hard drive speeds instead of ram speeds.

Ok thank you. This has helped so much as a first time pc builder

Exactly, he needs BOTH ram and a good PSU, like I said before.
