Daredevil points?

Anyone know if Daredevil points actually do anything? I jumped in a
Hellbender that was oddly positioned halfway on a ramp and got a
notification that said I performed a 213 second daredevil jump (obviously a
bug)... but I didn't notice that it did anything, does it?
