Hello all,

I was wondering about the rooms in Sims2...are they always so dark? I have
put in windows and tons of lamps which helps a bit, but the rooms are way
too dark. If I'm building a house, for example, I have to leave part of the
room "unclosed" so I can see what I am doing. Is this just the way it is?
I have downloaded a lot of nice things, (thanks to wonderful creators), and
their true beauty is hidden by the gloomy darkness. Any and all
suggestions will be appreciated!

I know this topic has been addressed before in the past, but I didn't have
the game then so I didn't pay too much attention...🙁

If you go to the game options in the game you can change it. There's a
lighting setting.

Check options...........graphic options..........and set your lighting
higher, if you can. If you can't, it may have something to do with your
video card

If game tweaks don't work adjust your gamma settings on video card utility.

Thank you for your answers. I will try the graphic settings. I think that
plus a better video card will do wonders for my game!
