It doesn't seem like my monitor is listed under it unless i'm looking at the wrong sectionEveryone monitor is different. I have a Dell TN Gsync panel. TN isn't that good at showing blacks and it is rather bright but colors are great, doesn't have good viewing angles but head on is ofc fine, but after tweaking it is manageable but I do come across some games I have to put on brightness 0 to pass that test (3 icons and you have to tweak till the far left is barely visible).
You could try and get the colour profile for your monitor. May make it a bit better. This overrides your GPU's control panels color settings menu if you have that tweaked. https://tftcentral.co.uk/articles/icc_profiles
The monitor has 3 gamma options aka modes, i have it on mode 1 which seems to be the brightesst? Or do you mean on the nvidia control pannel?brightness will just make those blacks gray, you might want to increase gamma level a little bit

as mentioned above in the op, Samsung LC24RG50Well which monitor do you have?
I tried tweaking with the contrast and either way i put it, it just doesn't look as it should? the black areas are still really offIt might be a contrast issue, rather than a brightness issue. Have you checked the contrast settings?
I wish everyone could afford and experience the ease of use and awe of oled screens honestly.
