[SOLVED] Dark mode keeps resetting after reboot

Dark mode keeps resetting to light mode after every reboot/shutdown. Only started happening in the last couple days. I haven't made any changes or updated windows. Any suggestions before I try windows restore?

do you have any other devices? do you logon to 2 with same user?

just wondering if its a sync issue
if you have 2, try going into settings/account/sync settings and disable theme syncing

no other devices. Sync settings is off as well

A few suggested fixes:

type "restore" then open "create a restore point"
create a new Restore Point now for C-drive
then open the newest restore point that is prior to the problem happening (if you have one)

try updating gpu drivers

sometimes making a new theme can fix it
