Dark Rock 3 & Asrock TaiChi

I'm trying to install the Dark Rock 3 on an Asrock TaiChi board but the spacers seem to be too short. When I fit the brackets over the spacers, they're just millimeters too short. What am I missing? I'm using the right brackets...

Just check again,look if the brackets are the right side up,look if the backplate is the right side up.Read the manual very carefully.

Also there are more than one "tai chi" boards so give some more info.

We reseated everything, flipped the brackets, tried the other set of brackets, flipped those over too and still couldn't get it to seat properly. I ended up using it in my AMD build.
