dark screen on my fujiJ38

i have a dark screen on my fuji J38 finepix. iI can go and see my pictures that I haved stored but I can not take any,, thay come out black, checked all settings. On picture screen I have all of the notifications working but that is all. What is wrong

Look at the front of the lens to see if the protection-shutter has opened with the camera switched on. If it stays closed, there's the cause of your black screen. It may simply have got stuck so leave the camera switched on and then give it a few gentle but firm taps against a padded surface.
