[SOLVED] Dark shadow in corner of display

Hi there,

This evening a shdow appeared in the bottom right corner of my screen , The shadow goes away briefly if I tilt the screen just right, but I can't hold it there.

Looks like the back-light in the corner is broken in some way. Most monitors have LEDs around the parameter that act as a back light.

No, i don't think so, because like i mentioned before the shadow goes away briefly if I tilt the screen just a bit.

is there a chance to fix it or should i buy another screen ?

You could try and open up the monitor and see if there is a loose or broken cable. But it def something with the back-light. Tilting it might just be putting pressure on the faulty connection.
