[SOLVED] Dark spot on laptop screen

Hi guys, I accidentally sat on my laptop in a car and it got a dark spot in the middle of the screen. I attached a photo but its not fully visible on it though it is there and it's visible on dark and white backgrounds.
Is there any way I could fix it or it is permanent?

I'd leave it alone. If the display suddenly ends up with a spot like an ink blot then that's when you replace the panel.

Thanks for your answer. I'd leave it alone and replace the screen if it gets worse, anyway I use it with external monitor.
