I have played with the Transference deck and enjoyed it. I think it is
a great introduction to modularity and watching creatures grow. The
blueness of it with the transmuter makes it fun to play as well.
I think most theme decks need to be brought into consistency. The
transmuter is a good part but there is only one in the deck. Increasing
the modulars and the transmuters can make the deck better.
MTG.com recommends arcbound ravager and arcbound overseer and that makes
sense to me as well. Of course the price of the deck goes up with these
improvements.
Overall I would give transference an 8 against other theme decks.
