While I was making a new partition I lost connection with the hard drive dock and now I can't get the HDD to work, I tried different solutions but nothing worked.

CRC fail is generally either a faulty cable, or a physically dead drive.

Probably the latter.

Hopefully you had a known good backup of this drive?

it was an empty one i got in a box at an auction. i was making a new volume and partition on it when the drive dock I have lost connection and now its like this. it was working fine before the accident.
