Hey, so I recently was trying to install a new hard drive onto my computer. When I go into Disk Management to Initialize the disk it gives me the error of Cyclic Redundancy Check. I have tried and Googled on how to fix it but all the solutions assume you have already had the disk initialized. For example, I see they tell you to go into Command Prompt and chkdsk /f x, x being whatever disk it is. But because I haven't initialized it there is no letter for the disk. Any help to initialize this disk would be great thanks.
