[SOLVED] Data extraction from old IDE HDD

I have an old IDE HDD which is not supported by my current Gigabyte mobo. I would like to ask about the most economical and convenient way with which I can copy data from this IDE drive to my PC. IS there any sort of cable available which is like IDE to SATA converter which I can use for this purpose? Thank you.

This is an interesting alternative. Actually I am not looking for a lot of convenience. I might use it for one time data backup and never use that hdd again Thank you for this link.

While you might not use that specific drive again, a USB dock is invaluable for working with other old or dodgy drives you may come across.
