Data lost by MBR to GPT convertion

While insatlling windows 10 i converted my file system from MBR to GPT on one drive. But the the whole partition is lost and it created one single drive occupying the whole storage. All of my data got erased. How can I recover my data?

Active partition recovery, delete the new partition created, run this software and it will detect all former partitions and it will restore the one you choose to restore.

That's what conversion from MBR to GPT does mate - - any pre-existing partitions have to be deleted prior to conversion. That's normal behaviour.

Can't you restore your data from your backups?

Conversion from MBR to GPT requires cleaning of the drive first.
Cleaning is data destructive - it deletes partition table from the drive and makes it to appear empty.
If you created new partition(s) and installed windows there, then overwritten data is lost and unrecoverable.
It may be possible to recover some data, that has not been overwritten yet. But I wouldn't put too much hope on that.

It is not requiered, MiniPartition Tools, EaseUs partition manager, and many more disk management softwares can do that without any data loss and reformating. Only Microcrap (Microsoft) does that.

OP didn't mention anything about using any 3rd party tools. Most likely didn't use them either.
