Question Data lost

I merged my drive d to drive c but unfortunately cannot find all my important files that was on the D drive. How can I recover those files?

How did you 'merge' these?

What led you to believe that the data would remain untouched?
Doesn't work like that.

Secondly, mistakes like this are what backups are for.

Lastly...still need to see a screencap of your Disk Management window.

If the D: partition was deleted, and C: extended to encompass the new 'empty space', perhaps data will be recoverable with Recuva or similar....(I'd remove the drive in question and attempt data discovery/ recovery in a different system vice installing Recuva to the system in question, as installing new applications could write over some data we are trying to recover...)
