Hello,

So the other day I smashed my phone and I want to get all the photos off it. Unfortunately some of them were stored on the internal memory of the phone. I have connected it to my computer via USB but unfortunately I think I set it to charge only before it broke and now I can't use the touchscreen. Any software I can use to get the data off? I have tried a few but they only work with samsung's for some unknown reason and I have a lesser known bq aquaris m4.5. I can't login to access my files on my computer.

Many thanks in advance.

If you disabled target IO on the phone, no PC software can do a thing about it, you'd need to reset your phone to unlock it (losing your data) assuming you can even do that with a broken screen. As Seyed wrote, your best chance may be an OTG adapter and trying to use a mouse/keyboard to re-configure your device so it'll talk to a PC and enable you to do your backup from there.

Another option would be to have the screen repaired.
