Data Recovery Software

Hi guys,
I have an 8GB memory stick that somehow became corrupt when I was using it.
Now when I insert Icannot access the data stored and am prompted to format.
I scanned with DR software and the data in intact, but it will only allow me d/load 1GB.
My question is, is there any free DR software that will allow me d/load all the data.
Any help would be appreciated.
