Data storage safety with Samsung 850 Pro Series and RAID 0

I am building a new system. How reliable / safe is data storage with Samsung 850 Pro Series and RAID 0? Should I consider a different RAID, if so which one?

RAID 0 is fast but gives up some reliability to obtain faster speeds.

RAID 1 is very reliable but gives up some speed in the process.

Unless you need the higher speed of RAID 0 (and are willing to risk the higher possibility of failure) or the high reliability of RAID 1 (and are willing to give up a little drive speed), I would stick with a single drive. The 850 Pro comes with a 10-year warranty, so Samsung obviously has a lot of trust in this drive.

RAID 0 basically doubles your chace of data loss. For home use you don't really need to use any RAID. One drive, and a second for backups.
