Data transfer pd to laptop

Hello,
As I want to copy my files, should I disable the wireless router connnection on both my computers before I connect the PC and my laptop using a crossover cable? Thanks, Mike

You can leave the wireless router connection ON. The cable will over-ride the wireless.
