Datamarck tests. old raid0 & laptop.. help please.

I have tested my desktop and laptop with datamarck to see the read speed of my computers.. my desktop has two old seagate 320GB 7200rpm hdds "sata" in raid0 + an old 500Gb "IDE" hdd..

I tested it with my small acer 3820T 13.3 inch with an 500GB hdd.

I'd like to know if its really slow or what. and whats the avg read speed now days if you buy the @ black ones? like barrcuda black?

Oh dang so they are much quicker then they ware. didn't know the HDDs got so much faster. but the hdds with raid0 run around 110-130mbs and that's the same speed of a "fast single 7200 rpm" today.

Laptop gets around 60mbs i think that's fair enough for 5400 rpm
