daul gpu on msi z87m gaming?

I am getting a msi z87m gaming matx motherboard and I have a r9 270 at the moment but will get the gtx 970 but if I got dual gpus would It be better to get two aftermarket gpu or one reference one and an aftermarket one to stop one blow hot air to the one behind and will this fit nicely in a nzxt s340 couse mine fits both atx or matx

In an mATX case, it would be ideal (but not required) to both GPUs be blower cards (reference), or at least the top card be a blower card.


BUT, a single 970 is better than two 270s.
