[SOLVED] DaVinci Resolve the cut problem

Hello, I just started to use this awesome software and dislike the Adobe subscription nonsense. However which shortcuts on GUI or on keyboard to enable me easier cut videos, I'm having a bit of problem in the cut area, I cannot cut or split on editing area, so my only option is the cut zone, which keys for split and the cut? Also do I really need to go all the way left and right with mouse scroll? I have long videos and that takes forever to reach a place on the video.
