After cutting their teeth as host to the final WCG USA Qualifiers in 2004, Dayton LANfest is back again, this March, to continue their reign as Ohio's largest LAN.
This time around DLF plans to continue their support of the LAN tournament scene by featuring UT2k4, Call of Duty, & Counter-Strike as their premiere events. Prizes are posted on the DLF website and are promised to grow with participation. There are 7 tournaments in all. Moreover, Intel has come on board to support DLF as their primary sponsor, enabling them to expand and enhance the DLF experience.
Besides plenty of tournament action DLF has gone all out to provide a complete experience with things to see and do while people rest up between matches. DLF will have on-site shoutcasts conducted by djWHEAT and WaCKSteVeN from Radio iTG! Also, CPU Magazine will be working with the iTG crew conducting contests, giveaways, and mini-events. They will also be outfitting iTG with a Maingear Dream Machine to show off its capabilities, as it will soon be featured in an upcoming issue of CPU.
DLF will also have visits from VIPs and celebrities, including a demo from the dojo of local martial arts icon Steven K. Hayes, the first American Ninja.
If you're interested in some good ol'fashioned Midwest fraggin, check out DLF at: www.daytonlanfest.com
If you want to see some interesting match ups, stay tuned to Radio iTG for event coverage in March!
