Archived from groups: microsoft.public.win2000.active_directory (More info?)
I have just reinstalled a DC in an all windows 2000 AD. The server does not
have any roles on it. Is running DNS and WINS.
when I run dcdiag /e /c /v and pipe it to a file this is the error I get:
Testing server: Default-First-Site-Name\HEKA
Starting test: Connectivity
* Active Directory LDAP Services Check
The host †& could not be resolved to a valid IP address.
Check the DNS server, DHCP, server name, etc
......................... HEKA failed test Connectivity
DNS and WINS show that it is listed correctly. Has static IP. All patches
to date.
I have no idea where to go from here.
