I have dcs-900
try walking outside 15 minutes before sunrise, with dusty glasses on.
or try walking outside 15 minutes after sundown, with dusty glasses on.
That's what it looks like at that time of day. Gets grainy as the light
levels drop, otherwise its a pretty decent cam, great cam actually for the
money if you don't need built in stand alone features like ftp, motion
detection - which can be done software off your computer easy enough. IF
you look at dlink for rebates & if the deal is still on wireless may be less
end $ total.
Its a big footprint for streaming www internet - just looked at one set to
stream 5fps, overcast day, looks out a window... 300kbits per sec. have
seen it stream above 2mbits per sec too on less compression faster frames
which is fine localnet but kinda big for most broadband users upload speeds.
I'd choose it anyday over similar cams like dcs-1000 and several others if I
don't need those built in features nor need a different lens.
