DD-WRT compatibility on Linksys WRT1900ACSV2 (version 2)

Reviews state that Linksys WRT1900ACS V2 is not fully DDT-WRT compatible as the router name implies. Want to buy one for VPN. Does any one kow if it is fully compatible with IPVanish? I understand Version1 had no issues but Version2 does. Anyone have any experience with V2 using IPVanish?
