DD WRT on DLink router

Guys i recently bought a D Link DSL 2750u router
I'm wondering If I can install a DD WRT firmware on this router
I would like to know??
And also I like to know what are the benefits of a DD WRT firmware??

it has a broadcomm CPU BCM63281
8MB flash
and 32MB ram
