DD-WRT problems with vap ... could use some help

I am using dd wrt (v24-sp2) on my router,to connect to my network over wifi .. i was using it for about a year without problems,with cable to my pc.. but my onboard lan died so i added virtual access point to ddwrt and connected through wireless.but when im using it that way connection just stops working after some time,it could be 5,10.20mins.. no pattern.. it says that im connected and have internet access and i can connect to router but web doesnt work,and then i have to reset it(sometimes more than once) and wait couple of minutes.. i tried over cable on different pc and no problems.. but on my phones and this pc that is connected over wifi that happens.any ideas what could be the problem?

I double checked, and it looks like you are running the latest version of DD-WRT sp1.

Need to first look at if this is a modem issue, or a router issue. If you connect your computer directly to the modem, without the router, see if the problem goes away or persists.
