DDC Pump Died?

Ok. I just built my loop and I had it leak testing after removing all the bubbles by rocking the case back and forth gently to remove all the bubbles. It was working just fine but then the pump stopped and I can't seem to get it to start back. I never let it run dry, so I don't know what happened.
 
We will need more information, if possible.

How is the pump being powered? Was the pump working while the PC was powered up and running and then suddenly quit, or did it just not start at machine boot at some point?

Have you tried an alternate power source/connection for it?
 


I had it powered by molex and I had a single wire PWM connector on a controller so I could change the speed at will. It was running for about 30 minutes or so before it quit while the system was on. Could it be because of a lot of air bubbles or something? I heard it wasn't good to have alot of air go into your pump. Edit: It is an Alphacool DDC 310
 


Yes I have. I am very confused as to how this could happen. ALphacool is a very reliable brand and they are highly recommended by JayzTwoCents as with the Laing DDC and D5 pumps. I am thinking about RMAing it and getting a replacement from Performance PC's.
 

Update: I drained the entire loop and reinstalled the pump. After that, I tried to refill it. I feel the pump spin up in quick bursts, but it still does not push any water at all.

What is your loop order?

Is that a cross flow radiator? Or does it just have ports on both sides? (Looks like there are ports on both sides?) What radiator is that?

Have you tried testing just the pump itself, disconnected from the rest of the loop?
 
The Molex pins all mated together properly as mentioned above? Have you tried rigging the pump to fill just the reservoir in a mini loop setup? This way the water only goes from the pump back to the res in a continuous cycle. I'm using 2 DDCs as well in my setup.
 


This was the route I was also thinking...I feel we've tried the obvious things, but how about the simple?

OK, watched the video. That helps a bit.

Does the pump work when the PC is connected properly with power and turned on? There are some power supplies that have circuitry that prevents shorting or jumping for periods of time and once tripped, you have to reset the PSU via the back switch. Some just don't like being jumped at all.

If you plug the 24 pin ATX back into the motherboard and start up the system, does the pump work normally, or does it continue to function as you have been stating? I'm assuming you've removed the PWM configuration and attempting to power just via Molex?
 


I have literally lost count as to how many times that has happened!
