dding gtx790 to i7-4970 not detected

hi i just bought a new gtx790 and i cannot get it to run. the lights on the card are on yet its not detected in devices.

i7 4970

is it a hardware issue?

Did you plug in both of the power connectors on the card? Does it give no signal to the monitor when using it? Does the BIOS see it? What PSU do you have?

erm no i only plugged in one connector the 8 pin as the two power connectors are daisy chained , it doesnt show in bios either. my psu is evga 600w bronze.

whey if there 2 connector on the card, you will need to plug in 2 power connector.
